Deaf-Con is a production name I came up with while promoting punk shows with Jason Faulk and Alex Hernandez at the Foothill (Signal Hill) from July to December 1997. We were given the task of promoting and making the best of Wednesday nights. I decided to continue using Deaf-Con for a bit after we cut ties with the Foothill. Jason branched off and started Shortbus Productions, while Alex began brainstorming Alex's Bar.

This is a Memorial Weekend three day music festival that I put on at Sacred Grounds in 1998. This three day music fest went well. The owner of Sacred Grounds helped pay for some of the merch printing costs (Posters & T-Shirts) and Victor Gastelum helped put the poster art together.
